5 must try cafes in Paris

5 Must try cafes in Paris!

Bonjour! and welcome to my Paris cafe blog, below is a list of 5 must try cafes for breakfast on your next trip to Paris!

Breakfast is the most important meal they say and but unlike the rest of the world Parisians are know for having very simple breakfast – a croissant or baguette with coffee or espresso. sounds too basic right? Do not worry! cafes in Paris have adapted to the needs of the tourist and have a variety of English breakfasts that will make you drool!

Below is a list of 5 cafes we went to and what we ordered:

1.Braun notes: It is a Hip cafe with a cozy wooden interiors, know for it’s pancakes , avocado toast and coffee of course, we ordered the English pancakes with eggs and bacon and coffee, It was the best pancakes I had ever tasted, very creamy light and fluffy with the right amount of sweet from the maple syrup and salt from the eggs and bacon.

They are also know for their avocado toast with a fruit bowl in a coconut shell, since it was really cold outside we didn’t go for the fruit bowl instead we took something warm. They are a lil pricey but the quality is huge so you will skip your lunch for sure.

2. Maison Sauvage : This is one of the most prettiest cafes iv’e seen , On the outside it is covered with flowers and has a very hippie interior. The inside of the care has about 3-4 tables only but the true experience of having breakfast in Paris is to sit outside looking at the busy streets while enjoying your meal. We ordered for the Maison Sausage breakfast and pancakes with coffee, the coffee was excellent and I wish I could have one now while writing this blog! Parisians really give importance to food presentations which makes the food even more enjoyable to eat.

Don’t forget to order their cappuccino and avocado toast which looked better than the pancakes we ordered that were quite sweet.

3. Cafe Louise: This was a more modern cafe with beautiful interiors and lighting, we visited this cafe because we had a free breakfast deal when we got the Paris pass, the free breakfast includes croissants, coffee of your choice and orange juice, we ordered omelettes separately which were about 15 euros each ( a lil over prices for eggs)

4. Le comptoir de l’Europe : We visited this cafe on a Sunday Because it was the only place open near our hotel on a Sunday morning. We ordered their spealcity breakfast which was a big omelet withth cheese & ham along with coffee, bread and orange juice. the egg was so good and heavy that we didn’t have to think of food till dinner time.

5.Kozy cafe : located close to the tour de Effie , this cafe is mostly indoor seating, the interiors were bright and happy we got a corner seat right at the end of the cafe, though the space between tables are very less we managed to squeeze in, we ordered some delicious coffee and chai latte ( don’t recommend the chai latte) and eggs and pancake. The services all speak English and were quite helpful.

There you go guys these are a list of my top 5 must visit cafes in Paris, do let me know if you happen to visit any of them! take care and stay tuned for more recommendations! 😀
